When you get in touch with us using the form on our website or by email, the information you provide us with is stored for a period of six months in order for us to process your request and respond to any follow-up questions you might have. We will not share this information with any third parties without your expressed permission.

Deactivate Google Analytics

Your IP address is saved, though immediately (by deleting the last 8 bits) pseudonymized. In this way, only general localization is possible.
Social Media Cookies
As a general practice, we do not install social media cookies and do not transmit any data to social networks. Only when the user deliberately activates a social media service (by clicking on "share", "tweet" etc.) will your activities be synced with these services.

3. Deletion of Data and Length of Storage
The responsible party processes the personally identifiable data of the person in question up to that point in time when it becomes apparent to the responsible party that no further contact or business relationship is likely to occur with the aforementioned person. As a rule, this point in time occurs three years subsequent to the last contact with the affected person, though not prior to expiration of statutory retention requirements.
Data pertaining to billing shall be retained for a period of seven years in compliance with § 132 (1) BAO.
Personally identifiable data will be deleted two months subsequent to expiration of this time period.
4. Sharing of Personally Identifiable Data and Data Categories
Within the scope of our data processing activities, we only share personally identifiable data with third-parties pursuant to legal consent as expressed according to Art. 6 GDPR (e.g. on the basis of Art. 6 lit b GDPR, if it is necessary to process a booking request, or on the foundation of our legitimate interest as laid out in Art. 6 lit f GDPR as webhosts and web designers). Insofar as we commission third-parties to process data, this occurs exclusively on the basis of a data-processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, requiring the third-party to process your data in accordance with data privacy guidelines.
In particular, this applies to third-parties who provide the following processing services:

Depending on the nature of your request or booking, only that personally identifiable data which is required in order to provide the requested services in question will be transmitted to our member businesses (accommodation providers, other tourist service providers).

- Financial institutions receiving payment for online vouchers (e.g. Paypal, SOFORT GmbH, online payment/credit institutions)
For adequate, targeted and timely performance of the contract as well as in the ordinary course of business, only your contact data (name, postal address, telephone number and email) will be shared.
5. Your Rights
You have a fundamental right to know what information about you has been collected, as well as to have that information corrected, deleted, restricted, to request that such data be transferred, as well as to withdraw your consent to collection of data in the first place. If you believe that the processing of your data contravenes data privacy laws, or that your rights to data privacy have been infringed in some other way, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the oversight authorities. Within Austria, this governmental office is known as the “Datenschutzbehörde”.
