UEFA EURO 2008™ – Salzburg The entire city is a fan zone!
Under the motto ”Football Festival for Europe!“ Salzburg‘s Old City will become a superlative fan zone in the heart of the city in front of a splendid architectural backdrop.
Football fans will be able to watch all of the matches in Austria and Switzerland on the city‘s most beautiful squares - Mozart, Residence and Chapter Square - in a sensational atmosphere under the watchful eyes of the Mozart Statue (open daily from 2:00 – 11:00 p.m., free admission).
A huge fan zone with three over 40 m² video walls, a family park, food court and a diversified entertainment program featuring Austrian pop stars, local bands and modern alpine customs will put football fans and ”everyman“ in the mood to party. An art zone featuring water, light and music on the Salzach River will offer three weeks of inspiration and spectacular perspectives.
