UEFA EURO 2008™ – Salzburg The entire city is a fan zone!
Under the motto ”Football Festival for Europe!˜ Salzburg‘s Old City will become a superlative fan zone in the heart of the city in front of a splendid architectural backdrop.
Football fans will be able to watch all of the matches in Austria and Switzerland on the city‘s most beautiful squares - Mozart, Residence and Chapter Square - in a sensational atmosphere under the watchful eyes of the Mozart Statue (open daily from 2:00 – 11:00 p.m., free admission).
A huge fan zone with three over 40 m² video walls, a family park, food court and a diversified entertainment program featuring Austrian pop stars, local bands and modern alpine customs will put football fans and ”everyman˜ in the mood to party. An art zone featuring water, light and music on the Salzach River will offer three weeks of inspiration and spectacular perspectives.
